The Center Point. is a Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship Readiness Program funded, in part, by the Ohio CDC Association’s 2022 Ohio Micro-business Development Program.
The program provides new business owners a solid foundation upon which to build their businesses. The program is led by a project attorney and administered by a diverse and talented team of business professionals.
Completion of The Center Point.'s Small Business Development Program, will provide you with the necessary tools to launch your business.

The Center Point. Program consists of a training curriculum and Technical Assistance Program that provides mentorship; entrepreneurship education; financial literacy; digital literacy and small business legal assistance.
The program is designed to increase the viability and chances of success for micro-businesses with an emphasis on business ownership upon completion of the program.
COVID-19 Notice:
The original format for the project was to consist of an in-person group session and one (1) online group session each week for six (6) weeks. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the project model has been changed to accommodate appropriate health and safety protocols and will be implemented in a completely online/virtual format.

When are Classes Held?
Group lectures, discussions and lab sessions will be held via Zoom Video Conferencing. They are normally held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and Saturday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Participants will also have a weekly one-on-one session with the project attorney.
What is the Time Commitment?
The Center Point.’s core programming requires six (6) hours per week. The amount of time a participant commits to, between the core programming sessions, is flexible and depends upon each participant’s circumstances. All participants are expected to attend each core programming session and complete all assignments.
