Pyramid CDC's SMARTNet program offers
an array of Industry-Standard Career Certifications and Credentials.
The SMARTNet Apprenticeship Program is a hands-on career training initiative that equips students with in-demand skills in IT/STEM, logistics, and emerging technologies, including cloud-based platforms like Zoho, Learning Management System. Rooted in workforce development, the program connects participants with industry professionals—ranging from SMARTNet alumni and technical trainers to hiring managers and recruiters.
A key feature of this year’s experience is a paid internship with local employer partners, giving students real-world exposure and work experience. Participants will also receive mentorship, skill-building workshops, and access to career fairs that connect them to job opportunities in high-growth industries.
Whether you’re exploring careers in tech, engineering, or logistics digital systems, SMARTNet prepares you to step confidently into your future with practical training, certifications, and professional support.
SMARTNet is designed to prepare individuals for key roles that support the day-to-day operations of IT/STEM, Logistics, AI, Graphic Design, and eSports. Our team of IT and logistics experts provides mentorship and career guidance to help participants identify the path that best aligns with their strengths and interests. This personalized support ensures learners are not only technically prepared but also confident in their career direction.
Through hands-on experience and targeted training, SMARTNet apprentices develop essential skills in areas like Technology, STEM, Retail, customer service, AI, Software Development, Business operations, and Creative Problem-solving. In addition to technical learning, participants gain valuable exposure to real workplace environments, equipping them with the professionalism, adaptability, and communication skills needed to thrive in today’s workforce.
SMARTNet is built on two core pillars: Pre-Apprenticeship and Employer-Sponsored Apprenticeship. The Pre-Apprenticeship pathway is designed for younger individuals or career changers who want to explore a specific industry before committing to a full apprenticeship. It serves as an introductory phase that helps participants understand the
career field and gain foundational skills.
Through the Pre-Apprenticeship program, participants receive training in basic technical competencies and job readiness skills tailored to specific occupations or sectors. This preparation helps them transition smoothly into a formal Registered Apprenticeship Program, where they can continue developing their skills through structured, hands-on experience.
Since 2016, SMARTNet has been transforming how individuals and communities prepare for high-demand careers. While traditional apprenticeships have long supported fields like plumbing and electrical work, today’s economy calls for a new approach—one that equips youth and adults with technology and logistics skills for the future of work.
SMARTNet bridges this gap through modern, hands-on apprenticeship programs aligned with employer needs. Participants gain certifications, earn while they learn, and graduate with day-one skills in IT, logistics, and tech support—without the burden of college debt.
We customize Apprentices learning pathways based upon their design careers. Where you have no experience or minimal experiences, SMARTNet can help you gain skills.
